First, listen to this. It holds the entire feel of the trip for me.

Asheville was exactly what I was looking for. Something close(ish) to home, but not too close I knew where I was. I smelt new smells. I felt new feels. I saw new things. New people. Tried new foods. It was everything a little getaway requires. But most importantly, by the time I left that wonderful hipster-filled town, I felt renewed, relaxed, and refreshed. Sometimes all we need is a short little break of the routine to keep the grind going. Because that’s all I’m doing right now. Grinding. To build a dream and make it come alive. But that’s a whole other story.

We all tried something a little new for this trip and that was embracing the power of a newer website called Airbnb. It is an amazing place where you can find individuals renting out their homes, apartments, even vans, boats, anything where you can come and stay. It’s like craigslist, but for hotel situations. And we sure found the best little place to stay down there. Look at how cute it was!!

But the major thing we did during our stay there was visit the GORGEOUS Biltmore Estate. I will just let the photos speak for themselves ❤

It’s hard for me to use the right words sometimes to really grasp what a trip meant to me. Or provide any of the feels. But I suppose that’s why we travel. To feel the difference. You can read a million words but experience is the only thing that truly teaches. It’s the one thing that gives us the grasp on the important things in life. Makes you appreciate all that is out there to see and experience. We can never truly live without a little adventure in our lives and I intend on filling my life with all the adventure I can get my hands on.

Thank you Asheville for being wonderful to me.

‘Til next time.
